About Cascades
Cascades has a wide range of high street and speciality shops in its bright and airy malls with lifts and stairs straight to the food gallery and to Cascades multi-storey car park. The spacious malls are flooded with natural light and provide shopping on a single level with cafes on the gallery and in Spring Street mall. The malls lead straight out to the traditional pedestrianised shopping district of the city centre with a wide range of shops from independent specialists to high street multiples, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, a traditional street market. Situated right in the heart of the historic city of Portsmouth, Cascades is close to banks, pubs and cafes.
We're open every day for excellent shopping except Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. Our opening times are from 9.00 - 5.30 Monday - Saturday and 10.30 - 4.30 on Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Opening hours on Good Friday are 9.00 - 5.30. Late night shopping is till 9pm on Thursdays in December. The car park opens 15 minutes before the shops and closes 15 minutes after they close.
Cascades is owned by a major UK pension fund and is property managed by the Managing Agents, Jones Lang LaSalle. The Centre was designed by Chapman Taylor & Partners and opened in September 1989 to local acclaim. The western section of the malls have been recently redesigned and extended to offer a new concept cafe restaurant gallery and a number of large new shop units. The double height, curved mall is an impressive arena to showcase the latest store concepts - the most recent being Dorothy Perkins, Evans, T K Maxx, Bhs and Bhs cafe restarurant on the first floor overlooking the mall. More stores and cafes will be opening soon.
The letting agents are Colliers CRE and can be contacted on 020 7935 4499. Ask for Sally Lloyd-Jones.
