Cascades Shopping Centre presents lucky winner with £250 holiday vouchers (March 2010)
Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth was delighted to present competition winner Mrs Annette Ferguson with £250.00 worth of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers today.
Mrs Ferguson from Copnor, Hampshire entered the February Valentines Day competition which was drawn last month as part of the ongoing 21st Birthday celebrations for Cascades.
To help celebrate their 21st Birthday, Cascades will be holding a special event on the 21st of every month in the centre which will give customers chances to enter competitions to win great prizes and pick up some free giveaways.
The February event was held on Sunday 21st and shoppers filled out flyers distributed by promotional staff which was then entered into a draw. Alternatively, shoppers were also able to download the flyer from the new Cascades website. The draw was held the next day which Mrs Ferguson was drawn to be the lucky winner out of hundreds of entries.
Mrs Ferguson was presented her vouchers at the shopping centre on Monday 8th March by Rhoda Joseph, Centre Director – please find picture of the presentation attached.
On winning the prize, Mrs Ferguson who works in a nursery commented; “I feel fantastic about winning the vouchers and I plan to see if there are any short weekend breaks that I can take in the near future. Thanks Cascades!”

This month sees the Mother’s Day March event to be held on Sunday 21st March where shoppers can pick up free giveaways and birthday cupcakes (subject to availability). Competition flyers are available in the Centre or can be downloaded from the website and drop them in the competition boxes found in the Mall to be in for a chance to win £200 of spa vouchers from the Solent Hotel and & Spa.
