Record your own X Factor Performance (March 2010)

Do you fancy enjoying a unique and interactive experience? Do you think you have the X-Factor? Cascades have launched the first X Factor machine!

This innovative booth invites you to unleash your inner super star and relive all your favourite moments from the show. Choose from 100s of songs to perform live inside The X Factor machine, alone or with friends, get judged and then take your very own DVD home!

The machine is located outside BHS in the New Mall. So, pop in on and have some fun!

Portsmouth shoppers find out if they have the X Factor

Singing shoppers are discovering if they have the X Factor after the first karaoke pod in Portsmouth arrived at the Cascades Shopping Centre.

Bosses at Cascades Shopping Centre are inviting people to unleash their inner pop star inside the new X Factor karaoke pod installed in the mall outside BHS in the New Mall.

The state-of-the-art booth is open for auditions and allows several singers inside the machine at one time.

Wannabe soloists or group performers are able to choose from hundreds of tracks to sing along to.

The booth will deliver a verdict from three judges before burning the song onto DVD for performers to take home and show off to family and friends.

Rhoda Joseph, Centre Director at Cascades Shopping Centre, said: “We’re thrilled to have the X Factor machine here at Cascades.

“We’re encouraging everybody to have a go at this uniquely interactive and fun experience. After all, who knows where it might lead?”

The machine costs £5 per go, and has been developed by Photo-Me International plc, and Fremantle Media Enterprises (FME), the licensor for the hit entertainment programme.
